CM Password Manager will not be developed any further. Ever changing major browser developments and new operating system mechanisms involving high levels of maintenance efforts prompted our decision. A decision which we hope you will understand.
Of course you can still use the latest version of CM Password Manager. However, we recommend to switch to another product for your access data management.
We added an export option to CM Password Manager easing the switch to one of the numerous available password management products on the market. The data export is based on unencrypted CSV files. This text-based format allows either directly importing or converting of data to be used by other programs, for example, the open source program "KeePass".
For data export install the latest version of CM Password Manager for Windows or Linux. The version for Mac does not support export, here please use the version for Windows or Linux.
Windows: Start the program via the start menu "All Programs | CM Password Manager | Utility." In the opening dialog find the item "Export the CodeMeter Password Manager data into a file." Click the "Execute" button to start the export assistant.
Linux: Start CM Password Manager Utility via the program menu CM Password Manager Utility. In the opening dialog find the item "Export the CodeMeter Password Manager data into a file." Click the "Execute" button to start the export assistant.
