CodeMeter Runtime

CM Password Manager

The CM Password Manager allows you to store convenient but secure passwords, PINs and TANs in the CmStick. With CM Password Manager you can carry your online access as easily as your house key.

CM Password Manager 4.40 for Windows XP, Vista and 7 (about 16MB) (Last update:2011-12-23)

Note for Windows 8: The current version of CM Password Manager can be installed on Windows 8. During the installation you will see an error message about failing registration of PMgrBHO32/64.dll; please press “ignore” to continue and finish the installation. After the installation CM Password Manager can be started and you can show passwords or add manually new passwords. Currently automatic form completion does not work in Internet Explorer. Don’t install CM Password Manager Firefox Plug-In, it will lead to a crash after restart of Firefox every time until you removed the Plug-In. Unfortunately a release date for a version fully supporting Windows 8 is currently not scheduled.

Note: Please use the Plug-In only with the version of our PasswordManager above 3.30!

Portable Firefox for your CmStick/M

To have your browser with you all of the time, you can install Portable Firefox on your CmStick/M. Portable Firefox is a fully functional Firefox package optimized for use on a USB drive. We combined Portable Firefox with CM Password Manager in a convenient zip file. With Portable Firefox running you can start the CM Password Manager from your CmStick/M without installing the CodeMeter run-time files.

Extract all contents of this zip file to the root of your CmStick/M. Then start "ImportSettings.exe". This will update your Portable Firefox profile with your current internet settings.
Please start the CM Password Manager with "startPwdMgr.exe" before the first start of the Portable Firefox in order to update the data inside the CmStick to the new version!
If you use another computer with other settings, you can execute this program again.
